Carmela & George
Carmela and George are the owners and heart behind Sugar Dust Bakery & Café. The couple bought the bakery in 2015. Everything at Sugar Dust is made from scratch with real butter and the finest ingredients.
Carmela, a trained Pastry Chef for over 25 years, graduated from the Baker/Patissier program at George Brown College. After working in several pastry shops, she decided to make her dream a reality and brought her love of baking to the community.
George has an extensive background in the restaurant industry. You will find him in the kitchen preparing your lunch order or serving customers and dealing with the day to day operations of the bakery.
